Privacy Policy
Developer: Navgrad Studios (Argentina) · Contact: [email protected]
This Privacy Policy describes how Navgrad Studios ("we", "us") handles information when you play Deepfury: Idle Berserker (the "Game") on Android.
The short version
The Game plays in full without an account, and we never ask for your name or email. It uses an anonymous identifier to back up your progress and to understand how the Game is played, and shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID under Google's own policies. If you choose to link a Google account so your progress can follow you to another phone, Google gives us the email address of that account. That is the only personal information we hold, and this page tells you how to remove it.
Information we collect
1. Anonymous game identifiers. When the Game connects to the internet it creates an anonymous account (a random ID issued by Google Firebase). By itself, this ID is not linked to your name, email or any real-world identity. We use it to:
- Back up your progress in the cloud, so it can be restored if your local save is lost. The backup happens automatically whenever the Game is online. It is tied to the anonymous ID stored on your device, so uninstalling the Game or moving to another device puts it out of reach unless you linked a Google account (point 4 below).
- Understand gameplay through anonymous analytics events (Google Analytics): things like "a player reached depth 20", tutorial progress timing, feature usage and ad-placement interactions. These events describe game actions, never you as a person.
2. Advertising identifiers (Google AdMob). The Game shows optional, reward-based ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and related data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ads personalization in your device's Google settings.
3. The player name you type. The Game asks you to name your character. This name lives inside your save data, both on your device and in the cloud backup. Use any name you like: it does not need to be your real name, and we suggest it not be.
4. Google account linking (optional). In Settings you can link a Google account, so your progress follows you to a new phone or comes back after a reinstall. The Game plays in full without it. When you link, Google's sign-in passes the email address of your account, and the display name and profile picture attached to it, to Google Firebase Authentication, which keeps them in the account record. The Game itself stores only the email address, on your device, to show which account is linked, and uploads nothing else about you. We use that email for nothing but recognising your account: no newsletters, no marketing, and we never share it. You can unlink at any time from the same place in Settings. That removes the Google identity from the account, and your progress and its backup stay where they are, under the same anonymous ID.
We do not collect: phone number, contacts, precise or approximate location, photos, files, microphone or camera data. The Game has no social features or chat. Your name and email reach us only through the optional Google link described above, and through nothing else.
Third-party services
The Game uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising) · policy
- Google Firebase (anonymous authentication, optional Google sign-in, and cloud save storage) · policy
- Google Analytics for Firebase / GA4 (anonymous gameplay analytics) · policy
Data retention
How long each kind of data lasts:
- Local save data lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the Game.
- Cloud backup: your save data, stored by Google Firebase (Realtime Database) under your account's ID. It is kept with no fixed expiry. If you did not link a Google account, that ID lives only on your device, so uninstalling the Game or switching devices leaves the backup unreachable, even though it stays stored until deleted. After a deletion request we can match to a backup, we delete it within 30 days.
- Linked Google account: the email address, and the profile name and picture Google attaches to it, stays in the Firebase account record for as long as the account is linked. Unlinking from Settings removes it at once; deleting the account, below, removes the account record altogether.
- Analytics data: anonymous gameplay events tied to an anonymous Google Analytics client ID. They are retained for the retention window configured in our Google Analytics 4 property, at most 14 months, after which Google Analytics deletes them automatically.
- Advertising identifiers are collected and retained by Google AdMob under Google's own retention policies, not by us (see Google's Privacy Policy).
Deleting your data and your account
How to ask us to delete your account and its data. Write to [email protected] with the subject "Deepfury deletion request":
- If you linked a Google account, write from that Google email address, or name it in the message. It is how we find your account.
- If you never linked one, include your in-game character name and, if possible, the approximate date you started playing. An anonymous account cannot be looked up by name or email, so we match it from those details.
We reply to confirm and, within 30 days, delete the Firebase account (including the Google link, if any) and the cloud backup stored under it. Nothing about you is kept after that. Analytics events are anonymous and cannot be traced back to an individual player, so they are removed on the 14-month schedule above rather than one by one. Deleting your account does not touch the save data on your device: uninstalling the Game removes that.
If all you want is to detach your Google account and keep playing, use Unlink in Settings. Nothing needs to be deleted for that, and you can link again later.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served through Google AdMob under its policies. If you believe a child has provided information through the Game, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security
All communication between the Game and our service providers happens over HTTPS. Identifiers are random and anonymous by design, and the one piece of personal information we may hold, the email of a linked Google account, is stored by Google Firebase under Google's security practices.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and its effective date. Major changes will be noted in the Game's store listing or release notes.
